Widely distributed around the county wherever there are grassy places in sunny, sheltered locations. The Common Blue is not normally seen in mountainous areas and is less common inland than previously


Where to look

When to look

This butterfly is double brooded, the first brood flies Mid May and June and the second brood from late July to September .
