Overview

The Dingy Skipper is a moth like butterfly found on sites that have areas of bare soil and abundant Birds Foot trefoil which is the larval foodplant. These conditions are most commonly found in COASTAL GRASSLAND and BROWNFIELD sites but also in places on the thin limestone soils of south Cumbria.
